We follow the Sale of Goods Act for corporate customers. For private customers, we follow The Act on Distance Contracts and Off-Premises Contracts.
- PRICE
Prices on our website are quoted in local currency (SEK, DKK, NOK or EUR) including VAT.
- FREIGHT
Our deliveries are mainly sent by DHL and deliver directly to the delivery address. The delivery of grills takes place to the plot boundary. Delivery of packages up to 20 kg will be sent to the nearest DHL Service Point. Normal delivery time is 3-5 days. For international deliveries normal delivery is 3-7 days.

- DELIVERY
Always check your delivery carefully. If the goods appear damaged due to defective cardboard always unpack and check the product itself. In case of damaged product (physical damage to the goods) the customer must immediately contact the carrier and complain about the goods. Then contact Kamado SUMO and provide the order or invoice number and carrier's complaint number. Alternatively, please report directly on our website or to our support for more information about the actions required.
- SALES
Sales cannot be made to minors or customers under the age of 18.
- RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL 14 DAYS
In the EU, as specified in the law on consumer protection in distance and home sales contracts, consumers have the right to withdraw from a purchase in certain cases by sending or delivering a notice to Kamado SUMO AB within 14 days from the date on which the consumer received the goods or a substantial part of them. The right of withdrawal only applies if the goods are in substantially unaltered condition. In cases where depreciation has occurred during the opening and inspection of the goods, Kamado SUMO AB will charge the customer for this depreciation. The right of withdrawal does not apply to companies. When exercising the right of withdrawal, you are responsible for the return freight. The amount of your goods value will be refunded. Charges associated with your order such as freight and payment fees will not be refunded. Please note that our prices include shipping, but in case of withdrawal, the direct shipping costs are not refundable.
- COMPLAINT
In accordance with the law, private consumers have the right to complain about goods that were defective when they were handed over within 3 years from the date of purchase. Notification of the complaint must be made to Kamado SUMO AB within 2 months of the discovery of the defect. Defects occurring within 6 months from the date of purchase are considered to be original. If the complaint is not made within 3 years from the date of purchase, the private consumer loses the right to complain about the product. For easier handling, the customer should make a fault report before returning the goods. Please note that the receipt of a return number does not constitute an accepted complaint. The invoice/delivery note must be enclosed and the box must be clearly marked with the return number. The goods must be packed in outer packaging approved by the carrier and Kamado SUMO . Complaints received by Kamado SUMO without approved outer packaging can be returned to the customer without action as they cannot be accepted for complaint action.
- PRODUCT LIABILITY
If the goods is damaged or gets lost during transportation from us to you, we are liable for payment. If the item is damaged or lost when you return it to us, you are responsible for payment.
KAMADO SUMO LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY
The warranty is only provided to, and can therefore only be invoked by, consumer-purchasers who have purchased directly from a retailer recognized by Kamado Sumo or from Kamado Sumo , and who use Kamado Sumo for normal household use. Excluded from the guarantee are therefore consumers who buy or purchase from a third party not recognized by Kamado Sumo as well as buyers and/or purchasers who qualify as commercial and/or intensive users such as restaurateurs, caterers, butchers, food trucks, food bloggers, etc.
This warranty does not cover damage caused by normal wear and tear of the product (such as scratches, dents and chips) or changes in the appearance of the grill that do not affect its performance. NOTE: the product warranty is not transferable to other owners!
- TO MAKE A CLAIM UNDER A GUARANTEE
A warranty claim must be submitted by the buyer to the retailer where the product is purchased. The retailer needs to be a Kamado Sumo approved retailer. The original purchaser is the person whose name is noted on the receipt and who has registered the warranty. Kamado Sumo is entitled to require a valid proof of identity in case of doubt.
To claim the warranty, the following information and/or documents need to be sent in writing to the retailer of the product, who will then deliver it to Kamado Sumo :
- Name of the buyer
- Address
- Telephone number
- Email address
- Receipt with product, date of purchase and name of retailer
- An accurate description of the problem, damage or defective part
- Pictures of the problem, damage or defect
- Serial number (if available)

- Ceramic body and components
All Kamado Sumo kamado models are sold with a limited lifetime warranty for defects in materials and workmanship on the ceramic body (ceramic base and chimney cap) to the first purchaser or owner who purchased the product from an authorized dealer and then registered their warranty under the terms and conditions. The fire box and fire ring are covered by a lifetime functional warranty. The deflector plates are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two (2) years. This warranty is valid for as long as the original purchaser owns this Kamado Sumo or the warranted component, with the exception of other ceramic, metal and wood components covered by warranty as described below. Lifetime warranty is intended to be understood as a period of 20 years. - Metal Components
Kamado Sumo warrants that the major metal parts used in this Kamado Sumo grill will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of two (2) years. Kamado Sumo uses corrosion resistant materials and high temperature resistant paint on all metal surfaces. Nevertheless, metal materials and protective coatings may lose their protection if scratched or used in an environment where they are exposed to substances and conditions beyond Kamado Sumo control. Examples of such substances that can corrode paint and metal coatings include chlorine, industrial fumes, chemicals, fertilizers, extreme humidity, lawn pesticides or salt in the air, for example if you live near an ocean. Therefore, the warranty for metal, stainless steel and cast iron components does not cover RUST, OXIDATION, STAIN or other FAULTS OF BEAUTY unless they also result in loss of structural integrity or breakage of these components. - Wooden components
For wooden parts such as side tables and handles, we provide a limited one (1) year warranty to the original purchaser. We recommend regular maintenance of wooden components to extend the life of the product and maintain a good finish. The warranty on wooden products does not cover normal weather wear and tear or cracks unless it also affects the function. - Thermometer and gasket
In a humid environment, condensation may occur in the thermometer, even if the camado is protected by a rain cover and/or is placed in shelter, such as under a roof or shed. Condensation in the thermometer is therefore not covered by the warranty unless this leads to a structural reduction in the functionality of the thermometer and/or the reading of the temperature has become impossible. The gaskets and thermometer are covered by a limited one (1) year warranty assigned to the original purchaser. - This is not covered by the warranty
These warranties are based on normal and reasonable residential use and reasonable maintenance. Commercial and similar use is covered by a one (1) year limited warranty. The warranty does not cover any accidental or incidental damage or breakage, or any damage resulting from transportation; dropping; improper assembly; inadequate support; commercial use; modifications; alterations; negligence; abuse; improper care/maintenance; traffic hazards; normal and reasonable wear and tear; or acts of nature. The warranty does not cover scratches, dents, edge bumps, crazing, blemishes, or minor cosmetic cracks in the exterior glaze that do not affect the performance of the product. - Accessories
Accessories for Kamado Sumo come with a 2-year warranty, on production and manufacturer's defects, unless it concerns consumer goods whose lifespan is reasonably shorter than stated above. - Consumables
Consumables such as charcoal, firewood and cleaning products do not come with a guarantee.
- ASSEMBLY OF SPARE PART
The buyer is responsible for the assembly of the new part. Kamado Sumo provides a proper instruction for this. Damage resulting from incorrect assembly is not covered by the warranty. Costs resulting from assembly due to, for example, hiring a mechanic, are not covered by the warranty.
- CHANGES OR IMPACT ON THE CAMADO
Damage resulting from modifications to the (internal and external parts of the) kamado, including drilling holes or adjusting parts, using parts in kamado other than those originally included, and/or using parts in a manner other than intended by the manufacturer, is excluded from the warranty. If such changes take place, the full warranty of Kamado Sumo is void.

- OTHER
Ceramics are a natural product that makes each Kamado Sumo unique and therefore there may be variations in its color and texture. In the event of replacement of a component, the color, structure and/or texture may differ, this is not a production or manufacturing defect. No rights may therefore be derived. The warranty explicitly does not cover the provision of a dome or base with identical color, structure or texture in case of replacement.
Kamado Sumo assumes no responsibility for any delay or failure to honor any warranty claim that is caused by any unforeseen circumstances beyond Kamado Sumo's control.
Kamado Sumo is not responsible for shipping, ordering, labor or packaging costs, export/import duties, VAT and other fees or taxes incurred during warranty, service, repair or return, unless authorized in writing by Kamado Sumo .
Kamado Sumo is not responsible for any delays or warranty obligations in the event of any unforeseen event or circumstances beyond Kamado Sumo's control. This includes (but is not limited to) natural disasters, fire, government restrictions or limitations, strikes, delivery delays or material shortages.
Kamado Sumo is expressly not liable for any other warranties - express or implied - including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
This warranty does not apply and Kamado Sumo shall not be liable for any damages resulting from delay, stoppage of operation, inconvenience or for any intentional and/or accidental consequential damages.
- CHANGING THE TERMS OF THE GUARANTEE
Kamado Sumo provides the guarantee without obligation and has the right to change the guarantee conditions at any time at its own discretion. The terms of guarantee for Kamado Sumo in force at the time of invoking the guarantee are those that will be in force when the guarantee is invoked by a buyer. These may differ from the warranty terms used at the time of purchase of Kamado Sumon by the buyer.
