JOHAN JURESKOG

As a member of the national chef team for almost a decade, chef and restaurateur Johan Jureskog has won both World Cup gold and the Olympics in cooking. In 2010 he was awarded the Gold Medal of the Gastronomic Academy and the following year the restaurant AG was opened. Since its inception, AG has won the Meat Restaurant of the Year award three times in a row and made it onto the list of the world's ten best meat restaurants. Johan is also a TV chef with over a hundred appearances in several different programmes and channels. In the latest tv show, he travels all over the United States to find and cook the world's best burgers.

ALBIN WESSMAN

Albin Wessman is one of Sweden's most creative food creators and a well-known face in the restaurant industry where he runs some of Stockholm's hottest restaurants such as Adam/Albin, Misshumasshu and the summer paradise Ön. Albin was trained at Mathias Dahlgren Restaurang where the best ingredients from Swedish sea, land and forest were cooked to perfection. In 2012, he won bronze in the Chef of the Year competition. Albin loves to grill and cook over an open fire with his motto that great food doesn't have to be complicated, just unreasonably good.

ALEXANDER ROYSON LINDGREN

Meet Alexander - a passionate grill master with a love of cooking since childhood. He has always been fascinated by cooking over an open fire and has developed a unique ability to harness what nature has to offer through his interest in hunting. Alexander has a particular passion for birds and game, but his philosophy of respecting all raw materials extends to every ingredient he uses. In 2021, Alexander participated in Sweden's Master Chef where he finished in an impressive 10th place. It was an important milestone in his career as a cook and has given him the motivation to continue developing his passion and talent for cooking. He strives to share his knowledge and experience to encourage others to explore their own spark for cooking whether in the kitchen or at the grill.

Johan Dalbro is a grill master living in Gothenburg on the west coast with extensive experience in grilling, who is also a meat sommelier. On social channels, he inspires a wonderful smorgasbord of cooking. The common thread is that all food prepared is always 100% gluten-free as Johan lives with celiac disease and cannot tolerate grains such as wheat, barley and rye. Johan is a true barbecue nerd and has a great passion for premium meat & burgers.

ANDREAS SÖDERHOLM

Our ambassador Andreas Söderholm has always had a passion for cooking and grilling and has even worked as a chef for a while. "What drives me in my cooking is to evolve and constantly improve and to have the opportunity to inspire others along the way." Andreas experiments a lot with flavours and tries out most things on his grills. Jimmy "Grillfén" Grilfve is a real barbecue lover who has a motto: if it can be done on the barbecue, it should be done on the barbecue, regardless of the weather or the season. He also runs the Facebook group "We who grill at Kamado Sumo " where you can find tips and tricks that apply to your Sumo-grill. As a passionate grilling enthusiast and certified grill and BBQ judge, Mikebrings 25 years of grilling and barbecue experience toSumo Kamado Sumo. With a background in both the restaurant industry and as a prize winner in Swedish BBQ competitions, he has become a well-known name in Swedish outdoor cooking. Mike runs Oaklake BBQ, where he combines classic American barbecue traditions with Scandinavian flavors on the grill. By cooking with passion, care, and the grill’s natural elements—fire, smoke, and heat—he creates flavor experiences that perfectly align withSumo Kamado Sumo of grilling, smoking, and cooking in a way that inspires both beginners and veterans at the grill.

Smoking Aces BBQ is one of Sweden’s most prominent BBQ teams and the undisputed grill masters of Kamado Sumo. The team is led by Martin Nordh, winner of TV4’s Grillmästarna 2015, and consists of a group of competitive grillers who live for fire, smoke, and perfection on the grill. The team has represented Sweden internationally, including at the Grill World Cup in Ireland, and competes regularly in major BBQ competitions around the world. Together, we also stood side by side at The Jack Daniel’s World Championship Invitational Barbecue in Lynchburg—one of the most prestigious competitions in the BBQ world. Smoking Aces BBQ combines a competitive spirit with craftsmanship and passion, and is a team that constantly pushes the boundaries of what can be achieved on a kamado. A team to keep an eye on—both in Sweden and internationally.

THE HOUSEWIVES' BBQ

The Housewives BBQ is one of Sweden’s two all-female competitive grilling and BBQ teams. The team was founded in 2018 and has since secured several top-five finishes, including first place in the vegetarian category in 2021 and fourth place in the Nordic Championships for spare ribs. Behind the name is a group of ordinary women with jobs, families, and children—but with an unusually strong passion for fire, ingredients, and flavors. None of them work professionally with food, but their passion is all the greater for it. The goal isn’t to take over the grill, but to take a seat at it—together. With natural feminine strength, The Housewives BBQ shows that BBQ can be both rugged and elegant—and that the most important thing around the embers is always the community.

Hell Yeah BBQ is one of Sweden’s hottest competitive teams in the world of grilling and BBQ right now. The team hails from the Bua/Varberg area and consists of Jessica Hedén, Henrik Andersson, and Fredrik and Jessica Yngbro—a tight-knit group with a clear competitive focus and an equally clear passion for authentic BBQ. In recent years, they have essentially dominated the Swedish competitive scene. The team has won multiple Swedish Championship gold medals and been crowned Swedish master years in a row, and has also been selected for the Swedish National BBQ Team, which represents Sweden internationally. Hell Yeah BBQ combines meticulous competitive precision with classic BBQ flair—pure flavors, perfect texture, and complete mastery of both low & slow and high-heat grilling.
